A weekend where you can become anyone, and anything can happen!

15th-17th August, Auckland, New Zealand

Chimera, New Zealand's largest larp convention, is here for its seventh year and is eager to welcome old hands and new faces alike for another stellar event! Last year, Chimera played host to 27 high quality larp games, an epic 160 player medieval flagship and new and old larpers from around the country.

This year, Chimera is set to once again draw larpers from across New Zealand to Auckland for a a marathon weekend of 28 local and international games. The convention timetable gives larpers the opportunity to experience a dystopian future, a Wodehouse comedy, pirates, witch trials, noir, angels, wizards, muppets and a myriad of things besides!

Chimera continues to be a great way for new larpers to meet the community, and for returning larpers to see old friends. In 2014, Chimera once again sprawls across the entirety of Motu Moana Scout Camp. The seventh annual Chimera is going to be a wonderful event in the larping calendar, so register today and bring your friends!
